Ever have the feeling of déjà vu and wondered why? Jinny does, and soon she will find out it's for good reason. She is a reincarnate of herself from centuries ago. Her sweet dreams have become that of nightmares ever since she met the man from those very dreams, who happens to be her soul mate from all those years ago. Unfortunately for Jinny, he is a demon and even worse, she is being tormented by Satan himself. I am flabbergasted! Truly I am! The story is absolutely amazing! There is just the perfect amount of mystery and detail to keep you begging for more. Xavier is my favorite demon. I think its his power of illusion that gets me all excited for him. And Jinny is my favorite character all together. She is one bad *ss woman! I must say though, Franklin is HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT! This is a must read!

I love the concept of deja vu, and any books that incorporate this phenomenon in the story, is definitely a book I will read. This is mainly why I chose to read this book. There's a reason for Jinny's deja vu experiences and if you've ever experienced deja vu yourself, you'll have yourself wondering if this book could possibly have some truth to it.
I especially enjoyed the fact that the author, Holly Newhouse works as therapist for children who have been victimized, as well as writing paranormal books like this one. She is also interested in photography.
Holly's interests, are all things I am interested in as well. Instead of being an therapist for children I am a therapist for victims of sexual assault. I'm also interested in photography and writing. With our similarities, I knew I would love her writing from the very beginning.
There's enough mystery and suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat. As I got further into the book, I read faster and faster just to get to find out what happens to Jinny and the two worlds she finds herself a part of. She's an amazing character that is relatable and interesting, which made it fun to read her story.
Past lives, current lives, creatures and beings from other dimensions, it's all part of her world now. Initially she feels like she's lost her mind, but eventually she comes to terms with the changes in her life and accepts the alternate reality she thought only existed in books.
Xavier makes a great demon that was so hateful, you can't help but love him. Every creature and monster you can think of is in this book. Everything from demons, vampires, ghosts, zombies, and werewolves. It's not like some books that incorporate many creatures, which can be overwhelming and seemingly impossible. This book is interesting and mesmerizing and will have any reader interested in the paranormal world, completely hooked.

From the first page I entered this story--the descriptions are perfect and drew me in from the beginning! And the plot--who ever would imagine this plot--this author has an amazing gift for plot and action and description. It is a fun book to read--I look forward to all of the books by this author!
